About Joe Moore
- The Professional
Joe Moore is a local Springwood boy. He became a
trainee to Alan May (Hello Al) when Al was
the
pro at Springwood before he started his successful golf retail stores.
Joe decided then to learn all about competitive golf by taking on
the PGA tour for 5 years and contested 22 major tournaments. 
During this time he had 2 Pro-Am wins but discovered his forte was teaching
and became the club pro at Ashlar then Hume at Albury followed by Glenmore
NSW. He has now returned to his birthplace and his main mission in life is
to be the best club pro in Australia. He believes he can do this in
in providing service that is second to none in all aspects for the
club golfer. He will concentrate on teaching and providing support for all
ages of club members and visitors . Joe has great respect for Australian
golf players and equipment and is an agent for the Kangaroo Valley made
Craftsman golf clubs for which he will give you a great deal.
Golf
carts are available from the Pro-Shop and cost:
Week-end - $25 for 18 holes, $15 for 9 holes.
After 2pm - $20 unlimited.
The is only one way to improve your game and that is by taking individual lessons. Joe is an excellent teacher - just give him a call on 0247 51 2484. Charges are $35 for 40 mins or $45 an hour.
Junior Clinics for cadet members are conducted each Wednesday
from 4 - 5pm and on Saturdays at 3pm. For cadet members clinics
cost $5 per session or $10 for non-cadet members.
